Job Description

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Collaborating with architects and engineers to create plans for LEED-certified buildings.
  • Applying LEED requirements to design innovative and energy-efficient solutions.
  • Overseeing construction projects to ensure compliance with LEED guidelines.
  • Monitoring and inspecting completed projects for adherence to certification criteria.
  • Liaising with regulatory agencies to streamline LEED certification processes.
  • Providing certification and compliance services aligned with industry standards like LEED, BREEAM, and WELL.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure sustainability compliance.
  • Developing and implementing energy and sustainability strategies for projects.
  • Advising on building performance and operational energy optimization.
  • Collaborating with PEA and ADTH staff for operation and maintenance of 115 KV substation buildings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility, particularly with 115 KV substation maintenance.
  • Familiarity with LEED, BREEAM, and WELL standards.
  • Proficiency in dynamic simulation software and mechanical design.
  • Knowledge of building regulations and energy performance certificates (EPCs).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • High experience with LEED standards and substation operation/maintenance.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and related applications.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.

For positions requiring access to technical data, export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce or the U.S. Department of State may be necessary. Non-U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, and protected individuals may undergo an export licensing review process.
