Job Description
Micron Technology is seeking a Global Sustainability Operations Program Manager to join its Global Facilities Innovation and Integration Group. This role involves overseeing, planning, and reporting on sustainability initiatives aligned with Micron’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability goals. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to enhance organizational effectiveness and develop execution plans for sustainability programs.
Responsibilities And Duties Include, But Not Limited To
Support Sustainability Programs, Sustainability Cost and Capital Strategy, Roadmap and Execution
- Define and develop the roadmap for long-term Sustainability strategy, including CAPEX and OPEX projections.
- Collaborate with Global EHS, Central Planning, Global Facilities, and other departments to align sustainability costs.
- Oversee environmental sustainability investment effectiveness and project execution.
- Monitor projects for cost-effectiveness and sustainability benefits, benchmarking across the network.
- Lead initiatives across four environmental sustainability pillars.
- Implement and monitor ongoing cost-saving opportunities in sustainability programs.
- Measure and report sustainability and cost performance regularly.
Setup Channels to Drive Strategic Communication and Collaboration
- Establish effective communication among environmental sustainability leadership and stakeholders.
- Act as liaison between leadership, program teams, and stakeholders.
- Manage communication for critical projects and address performance issues proactively.
- Engage with program owners to share best practices.
- Provide structured communication to team members and foster engagement.
Deliver Program Support and Program Management
- Establish program structures, manage dependencies, and track milestones.
- Clarify goals and responsibilities across team members.
- Identify and resolve potential roadblocks early.
- Facilitate regular meetings with key stakeholders to drive program outcomes.
- Incorporate feedback for continuous program improvement.
- Coordinate issue escalation and drive resolutions to meet objectives.
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, sustainability, or a related field.
Experience
- 2+ years in capital project execution and OPEX management.
- 2+ years in Facilities Engineering or a similar environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for sound communication.
- Proficient in SAP, Ariba, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in program and project management.
Travel
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (10% of the time).
