Job Description

In this role, you will leverage your experience to develop industry-leading solutions that help clients succeed by:

  • Leading consulting engagements focused on sustainable procurement and ecosystem development related to key inputs.
  • Monitoring industry sustainability trends in key ingredients and coalitions.
  • Supporting the development of BCG’s offerings on sustainable procurement and supplier engagement.
  • Deploying and developing new features for BCG’s digital tool on scope 3 measurement, CO2.AI.
  • Providing insights on other digital tools for end-to-end value chain transparency and recommending partnerships.
  • Developing thought leadership for corporate leaders and policy makers on sustainable value chains.
  • Collaborating with project teams, contributing expertise both on-site and off.

Our Expert Consulting Track

The Expert Consulting Track (ECT) is crucial to BCG’s ability to address complex client challenges. Experts focus on developing thought leadership and commercial capabilities, working with multidisciplinary teams to provide impactful solutions to clients. Experts come from diverse backgrounds with specialized knowledge gained outside of BCG.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of consulting experience focused on sustainable procurement in consumer products or related industries.
  • Knowledge of sustainable procurement, product development, and supplier engagement.
  • Ability to formulate innovative business models and long-term strategies maximizing shareholder value.
  • Proven experience managing client engagements and relationships, providing thought leadership, and ensuring engagement quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex concepts in simple terms.
  • Federal procurement experience is a plus.
