Your impact

We have multiple exciting opportunities available for experienced Environmental Scientists to join our growing Perth based Environmental Approvals Team. These roles are suited to early and mid-career stage environmental professionals looking to expand and diversify their experience and career.

The role

In this role you will make a key contribution to the delivery of environmental planning, impact assessment and regulatory approvals of significant projects across a range of sectors with a strong focus on transport, power and energy, renewables, resources, water and Defence.

You will work alongside highly experienced professionals that will support you to grow and develop professionally. You will

  • Develop your consulting, project management and technical skills through delivering a range of environmental consulting projects
  • Help shape Western Australia’s future as you work with stakeholders, clients and our in-house design teams to drive better, sustainable project outcomes.
  • Work with clients in the early stages of their project to develop environmental approvals strategies and scope environmental impact assessments.
  • Scope, manage and execute environmental studies and surveys.
  • Undertake environmental impact assessments across a range of industry types and project sizes.
  • Prepare high quality environmental approvals documentation and environmental management plans.
  • Work in a team that is part of national practice, enabling you to work on projects across Australia with our 275+ strong Environmental Solutions business

Here’s what you’ll need

We are looking for enthusiastic and values driven professional that have experience delivering environmental impact assessments and environmental approval in Western Australia. You will have

  • A degree/post graduate qualification in environmental science, environmental planning or related discipline
  • 2-10 years’ experience in environmental impact assessment, environmental approvals and environmental management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of Western Australian and Commonwealth environmental legislation
  • Exceptional organisational skills with strong motivation and ability to work self-directed
  • Interest and aptitude in working across multiple disciplines and sectors.
