Program Lead
Tubagus Aryandi Gunawan, Ph.D.
Net-zero Research & Development Lead at ECADIN & Net-zero America Expert at Princeton University, New Jersey, USA
His research in his PhD dissertation entitled, “Comprehensive techno-econoenvironmental modelling of renewable hydrogen supply chains” at the University of Galway in Ireland, has been globally recognized as high-quality research and won the third prize laureate of the Global Challenges University Alliance (GCUA) 2030 Award in 2022. As part of his PhD research, he developed an online decision support tool (DST) for deploying renewable hydrogen across large cities in the UK, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany. His PhD and DST were financially supported by a European Union funded hydrogen project that pioneered three green hydrogen value chains in Europe. Previously, he was also involved with the modeling of hydrogen to synthetic liquid fuels production at the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
Desti Alkano, Ph.D.
Founder & CEO at ECADIN
For more than a decade, she has focused on research related to green hydrogen and renewable electricity, contributing to leading international journals. One notable hydrogen publication includes an article titled “Distributed Supply Coordination for Power-to-Gas Facilities Embedded in Energy Grids,” featured in IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid. Since establishing Energy Academy Indonesia (ECADIN), she has been initiating and leading a number of joint studies and global partnerships with multinational companies and research and financing institutions in driving and implementing changes for corporate sustainability.
