ECADIN attended the First International CCS Forum

In September 2023, the Energy Academy Indonesia (ECADIN) took part in the first International Indonesia CCS Forum 2023 (IICCS Forum 2023) in Jakarta and signed an MoU with partner organizations to expedite CCS deployment. Organized by Indonesia CCS Center (ICCSC), this forum convened stakeholders from ASEAN countries to exchange knowledge on CCS technologies, best practices, and policies. Its goal was to highlight CCS as a vital climate technology for significant emissions reduction and to position Indonesia as a future CCS development hub.

During the event, an MoU involving ECADIN, ICCSC, and Global CCS Institute signed, fostering collaboration in CCS capacity building, knowledge sharing, and research. Desti Alkano Ph.D., the founder and CEO of ECADIN attended the signing ceremony alongside Dr. Belladonna Maulianda (Director of ICCSC) and Hiroshi Nambo (the GCCSI’s branch representative of Japan).
