Job Description
The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) (Train-and-Place with Commitment to Hire) is designed for individuals looking to develop skills for the Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing sector in Singapore. The programme offers a 15-month local attachment with GSK and is exclusively available to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.
Role Description:
Trainees will operate equipment and facilities safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards. Responsibilities include:
- Executing, monitoring, and supporting activities within an assigned work area to ensure optimal process, equipment, and facility operations in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), safety, and quality standards.
- Supporting shift operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assisting operation leaders and engineers with projects and technical tasks.
- Coordinating with relevant parties for smooth operations and equipment maintenance.
What Trainee will be involved in:
- Execute, monitor, and support activities in assigned areas to maintain target production levels and optimize operating costs.
- Support shift operations and continuous improvement plans.
- Assist project and technical operations led by operation leaders and engineers.
- Coordinate with relevant parties for efficient operational workflow and maintenance.
Requirements:
- ITE/Diploma in a related field.
Competencies and Skills:
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and execute technical operations effectively.
- Capable of applying technical knowledge to implement practical solutions.
- Compliant with standard operating procedures, safety, and quality requirements.
Work Location:
Position based at one of the manufacturing sites in Singapore near Jurong.
