Job Description
This role involves implementing sustainability and ESG solutions for PSA’s civil infrastructure development projects and existing infrastructure. You will work closely with PSA’s global project teams and civil engineering colleagues. Responsibilities include:
- Providing expert advice and working with senior management, project stakeholders, and international business units.
- Being a key provider of sustainability/ESG solutions, demonstrating added value, and developing PSA’s ESG management system and best practices.
- Advising on and driving the adoption of international sustainability standards and norms.
- Setting sustainability benchmarks and KPIs, reporting on outcomes, and providing feedback.
- Providing hands-on support and guidance to project teams and senior management, and interacting with external consultants.
- Contributing to PSA’s global initiatives and training programs.
Requirements
Technical Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in developing and leading sustainability (ESG) initiatives for infrastructure development, preferably in coastal environments.
- Experience in managing ESIAs and/or E&S Due Diligences, with knowledge of international industry practices and E&S reporting systems.
- Awareness of Science Based Targets initiative and SBT for ports.
Personal Profile:
- Strong analytical skills and experience in international settings.
- Good team player with strong communication and influencing skills, capable of building relationships with international teams and senior management.
- Willingness to travel and work overseas on short visits.
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
