Job Description

The Sustainability Auditor will be responsible for validating and verifying greenhouse gas assertions and sustainability initiatives. Key responsibilities include conducting sustainability audits, carbon emission validations, and ensuring timely project completion. The auditor will also support the development of new sustainability products and services and participate in technical exchanges to enhance sustainability knowledge.

  • Conduct sustainability audits and carbon emission validation and verification in line with project requirements and certification standards.
  • Perform verifications or audits in areas such as CORSIA, NEA Carbon Tax Verification, GHG emissions (ISO 14064), and sustainability projects.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Support the development of new sustainability initiatives.
  • Participate in technical exchanges for knowledge improvement in sustainability.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering, with a preferred minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in industries such as petrochemical, bulk and specialty chemicals, or semiconductors.

Specific Skills & Knowledge

  • 3 years of experience with GHG emissions, verifications, and developing GHG inventories/projects at a reasonable assurance level.
  • Preferred candidates will have sustainability project experience and familiarity with relevant GHG programs (ISO 14064, PAS 2050, etc.).
  • 2 years of sustainability project experience preferred.
  • Experience in sustainability consultancy or project activities.
  • Completion of a verification engagement as a lead verifier under a recognized accreditation body is preferred.
  • Qualification as a Singapore Certified Energy Manager is advantageous.
