Job Description
The ASEAN Sales Team is seeking a Sr Account Executive to manage sales of SAS software products, solutions, and services in a high-volume, multi-tasking environment for both prospective and current accounts.
As a Sr Account Executive (Energy & Utilities) – ASEAN you will:
- Sell software, solutions, and services to customers, leveraging sales opportunities to acquire, grow, and retain customers within your territory.
- Respond to a wide range of requests for information from prospective customers, qualifying opportunities and required resources.
- Manage territory and account development, identifying high-potential accounts and advancing opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare quotations and proposal information.
- Coordinate with other departments to finalize contracts and delivery schedules.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional revenue opportunities.
- Understand company pricing, licensing procedures, and approvals matrix.
- Utilize account planning processes and tools effectively.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in a sales/consulting role within the energy & utilities industry.
- Education, training, or experience equivalent to the above qualifications may be considered.
- Knowledge of strategic sales techniques and hardware/software acquisition cycles.
- Familiarity with industry software and hardware terminology; knowledge of SAS solutions preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, strategic selling, and analytical skills to develop sales plans.
- Ability to lead projects, work effectively in a team, and relate technical concepts to SAS applications and user needs.
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50%).
