Job Description

The Social Impact and Sustainability Specialist (Local Partnership) will focus on securing financial contributions from Indonesian and multinational corporations to support WVIDN’s programs. This role involves maintaining donor relationships, ensuring quality in reporting, and managing project cycles to secure diversified funding sources.

This position encompasses the entire process of funding acquisition (pre-award) and project management (post-award) for projects sponsored by local corporations, retail, foundations, and State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). Additionally, it aims to foster sustainable social impact collaborations through community development initiatives, including humanitarian emergency responses.

Required Professional Experience

  • Min. 2 years’ experience in fundraising, business, marketing, or project management.
  • 2-3 years in similar roles (Local Grant Acquisition Management, Donor Portfolio Management, CSR, ESG Management, etc.).
  • Responsive and mature mindset with independent work capabilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong commercial orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent proposal writing and editing skills in English.

Required Education, Training, License, Registration, and Certification

Bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited institution in Social Development, Social Welfare/Work, Communication, Management, Business, or related social sciences.

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Customer-focused approach in Financial Business Partnering.
  • Basic understanding of SDGs, ESG, CSR, Impact Investment, etc. Relevant certificates are a plus.
  • Ability to create and design social project proposals.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for donor engagement.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills to develop project ideas and concepts across departments.
