Job Description

As a Senior Manager, Sustainability, you will be responsible for Sustainability Reporting and Environmental and Social initiatives, coordinating efforts across overseas offices and NCS Singapore to raise awareness and engage stakeholders.

What will you do?

Establish Sustainability Governance

• Support the Director of Sustainability in establishing governance policies, frameworks, and processes to meet NCS’s sustainability pledge by engaging employees, clients, and partners.

Environmental and Climate Action

• Collaborate with stakeholders to set and track environmental targets and decarbonization projects.
• Support internal environmental management programs (e.g., internal carbon pricing, recycling, communications, training programs).
• Perform data collation, analysis, and reporting for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
• Achieve relevant accreditation and data assurance.

Integrate Sustainability into NCS Operations and Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage with NCS stakeholders to embed sustainability KPIs in business operations.
• Guide departments such as IT and building management to enhance environmental stewardship and waste management.
• Collaborate with CSU/LOBs on developing sustainable products and services to enhance circularity and value creation.
• Drive social initiatives focusing on sustainability, youth, and digital engagement.
• Represent NCS on sustainability matters and engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and industry workgroups.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with system thinking skills related to sustainability.
• Experience with environmental and carbon reporting standards, and implementing e-waste and sustainable packaging solutions.
• Experience in developing sustainability products and services with commercial teams is an advantage.
• Good understanding of environmental sustainability strategies and operational concepts.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations in Singapore and international guidelines.
• Knowledge of sustainability-related subjects, concepts, principles, and guidelines (e.g., GRI, UNGC).
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders.
