Job Description

The Global Sustainability Manager combines business administration and technology expertise to understand complex organizations and devise technical solutions. This role involves liaising between commercial, marketing, and technical teams within the context of seaborne transportation and shipping finance. Responsibilities include scaling existing services, commercializing new opportunities, and identifying revenue streams while supporting management decisions through data analysis and strategic insights.

  • Drive and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Manage Demand and Account Management processes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to expand business opportunities.
  • Promote services/products aligned with the ABS service portfolio.
  • Collaborate with teams for proposal and pricing development.
  • Work with technical teams to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Provide insights on market trends and competitor activities.
  • Attend industry events to gather feedback on market trends.
  • Support various core processes to achieve business outcomes.
  • Identify marketing campaign opportunities to increase sales.
  • Ensure accurate data management in the company’s CRM and monitor sales targets.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or engineering; MBA preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in the relevant market sector.
  • International experience and background in business development preferred.
  • Experience in shipping finance and entrepreneurship is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Ability to conduct research and develop business insights.
  • Understanding of project life cycles and risks in M&O technologies.
  • Analytical skills to manage complex information flows.
  • Proven success in developing high-performing teams.
  • Track and analyze industry legislation and transition plans.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective multi-level engagement.
  • Strong commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Knowledge of ABS Rules, Guides, and safety policies.
