Senior Executive/Executive, Energy Partnerships Division

Job Description

MTI’s Energy Partnerships Division is responsible for formulating Singapore’s energy policies and strategies, in collaboration with the Energy Market Authority, other government agencies, academics, and private sector stakeholders. This includes developing competitive energy markets, promoting the use of solar and alternative energy sources, and fostering international and regional cooperation.

The Energy Partnership and International Cooperation team leads efforts to (i) import renewable energy from the region, (ii) establish energy collaborations at both bilateral and plurilateral levels, and (iii) advocate for an inclusive global energy architecture in multilateral forums.

What You Will Be Working On

We are seeking an officer who (i) thrives in a dynamic environment and (ii) can work effectively with various stakeholders across organizational boundaries. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Division, including security clearance for external visitors, venue bookings for meetings, approvals for trips, and coordinating team trips.
• Assisting in securing approvals for the payment of annual membership fees to International Organizations.
• Offering financial support to the division, such as processing invoices, tracking cash flow, and monitoring budget utilizations, including managing ESI’s reimbursements and fund disbursement approvals.
• Supporting the division’s Knowledge Management by ensuring adherence to organizational guidelines and facilitating the retrieval of documentation and information.
