Senior Environmental Engineer

Job Description

The Senior Environmental Engineer at Lam Research will work under the Corporate Environmental Senior Manager within the Global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring corporate environmental programs across various media (air, water, waste) to ensure compliance with laws, industry standards, and corporate policies, specifically focusing on operations in the Asia region and maintaining ISO 14001 certification.

The Impact You’ll Make

As a key contributor in EHS, you will develop and oversee environmental safety programs, conduct inspections, provide training, and manage hazardous waste processes, ensuring regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will also include liaising with regulatory agencies and supporting Lam’s commitment to safety and environmental excellence.

What You’ll Do

This technical role requires daily interaction with EHS and business unit engineers across manufacturing and R&D sites. Essential skills include:

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or environmental engineering or a related field; a Master’s is preferred.
• Extensive environmental compliance experience.
• Technical expertise in air, chemical, and waste management.
• Professional environmental certification is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Willingness to travel 25-50% of the year.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin is a plus.
