Senior Engineer Environment, Safety & Health

Job Description

In this role, you will serve as a site safety coordinator, providing daily operational coverage for all safety needs. Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining adherence to occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, ISO 45001:2018, SMK3, and enhancing company OHS effectiveness.
• Being a role model for safety leadership and leading safety-related investigations and the 8D process to determine root causes with both short- and long-term solutions, ensuring timely follow-up on actions assigned to employees.
• Developing and preparing reports for relevant local regulatory bodies and ensuring compliance with OHS regulations and policies.
• Coordinating OHS training programs and enhancing site Emergency Response team capabilities for OHS-related emergencies across the organization.
• Ensuring workplace risk assessments and safe work permit evaluations are performed and reviewed.
• Leading fire protection system assessments and ensuring adherence to fire protection standards.
• Maintaining effective safety communication, information, and education throughout the organization.

Requirements

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Occupational Health & Safety Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
• Relevant training (AK3 Umum, fire protection, risk assessment, incident investigation).
• Experience with ISO 45001, SMK3, and Fire Safety audit.
• Problem-solving and root cause identification skills.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
