[What the role is]
You will be part of the Quality & Excellence Group – Standards Division (Services), which leverages the national Standards and Conformance (S&C) infrastructure to build trust in Singapore’s products and services. In this role, you will be a part of the Sustainability, Electrical & International (IEC) department.
[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with industry experts, government agencies, institutions of higher learning, professional bodies, industry associations and other stakeholders to identify and develop national and international standards in sustainability.
- Coordinate inputs to various sustainability-related initiatives involving Whole-of-Government and internal stakeholders.
- Support the implementation of the Singapore Standards Council’s climate action plan and monitor the progress of sustainability-related standards.
- Manage standards development organisations to ensure timely publication and promotion of standards. This include providing guidance on standards development processes, identifying key stakeholders for the formation of committees, curating meeting agendas and workshop programmes.
- Stay abreast of international/national developments and emerging issues in sustainability to identify standardisation needs in Singapore and at the global level.
- Review and advise on tools supporting enterprise adoption of sustainability standards.

Requirements
- Strong passion and dedication to advancing Singapore industries through standardization.
- Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
Ability to think critically, work independently, and cultivate strong relationships with partners.
- Has worked in the field of sustainability for more than 3 years and has deep industry knowledge in sustainability and climate change.
