The energy sector is rapidly changing, and our Southeast Asia team specializes in providing consulting services related to energy transition. We are looking to recruit a Senior Consultant – Energy Transition to support this growing sector from our Singapore office.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced energy consultant with consultancy and project delivery experience in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia to enhance our Asia energy practice. The role requires expertise in renewable energy, hydrogen, interconnectors, and battery technologies. The consultant will deliver services including strategy development, techno-economic modeling, due diligence, and energy policy insights across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic insights on the energy market in the SEA region, focusing on renewable energy and related technologies.
• Deliver consulting services for strategy development, energy transition planning, and decarbonization strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Lead energy projects from inception to completion while ensuring client satisfaction.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the energy sector.
• Engage in business development to expand our client base and project opportunities.
• Manage project teams and mentor junior consultants.
• Stay updated on industry practices and regulatory frameworks.
• Represent the company at industry events and promote our services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy consulting with a focus on relevant technologies.
• Strong understanding of the SEA energy market, including policies and dynamics.
• Expertise in strategy development, modeling, and energy transition planning.
• Excellent business development and client relationship skills.
• Established network with industry players and governmental agencies in the region.
• Exceptional project management and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
