Job Description
Schneider Electric is seeking a Safety, Environment and Real Estate Officer responsible for managing health, safety, and environmental issues. Key responsibilities include:
- Researching, coordinating, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental matters such as waste disposal, air/water quality, pollution control, and overall safety compliance.
- Preparing permit applications and conducting regulatory reviews.
- Performing periodic inspections and participating in audits related to facility operations.
- Developing and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conducting training on safety protocols and implementing relevant policies.
- Managing projects related to Environmental Sustainability and Energy Conservation aligning with ISO 50001 standards.
Who would be successful?
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Civil or Electrical Engineering) is required.
- A background in Manufacturing Safety is desirable.
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in environmental, health, and safety programs in a manufacturing, semiconductor, or electronics setting.
- Knowledge of environmental sustainability programs is essential.
- Must be trained as a PCO and DOLE Qualified Safety Officer 3.
- Some background in facility maintenance is an asset.
- Excellent communication, people management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are necessary.
- Willingness to work onsite in Rosario, Cavite full-time, five days a week.
