Job Title: Renewable Energy Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Analyst to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a background in both financial modeling and early-stage renewable energy development. This role requires a unique blend of analytical skills, industry knowledge, and a passion for renewable energy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial modeling and analysis to support renewable energy projects.
  • Perform early-stage development work, including site assessments and feasibility studies.
  • Utilize Geographic Information System (GIS) tools to analyze and interpret spatial data.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance and project finance teams to evaluate project viability and financial performance.
  • Engage with landowners and stakeholders to facilitate land transactions and agreements.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Experience in financial modeling in the renewables and banking industry
  • Hands-on experience with early-stage renewable energy development and GIS tools.
  • Alternatively, 3-4 years of experience at a renewable energy developer, with exposure to both corporate finance/project finance and development teams.
  • Familiarity with farming and rural environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
