Job Description

AFRY is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Project Manager for Renewable Energy, based in Bangkok, Thailand, or Manila, Philippines. The role encompasses the following responsibilities:

• Preparation and management of conceptual design studies, feasibility studies, lenders engineering, independent engineering projects, and technical due diligence assessments for renewable energy project acquisitions.
• Management of EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, IPP bidding projects, PPA negotiations, and overall development of renewable energy projects.
• Management of various technical consulting assignments for solar, battery, hybrid, and wind power projects.
• Preparation of client reports and coordination of internal report preparation processes.
• Opportunity to expand the role to include business development, proposal preparation, consulting contract negotiation, and project management of other renewable energy and thermal power projects.

Qualifications

• Higher professional degree in a relevant engineering field (B.Sc. or higher).
• Over 7 years of work experience in power utilities, engineering, or power sector consulting.
• Experience with solar, wind, and/or hybrid power projects.
• Willingness to travel to other countries as needed, subject to travel restrictions.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Excellent report writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in client interactions and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to work well with diverse cultures and independently.
