Job Description
The Sustainable Solutions team within the Sustainability Group is looking for Project Interns for a full-time internship period from January to June 2025 or July to December 2025. Interns will support the team in catalyzing decarbonization solutions within Temasek’s portfolio, focusing on clean energy technologies, research, analysis of trends, and engagement with stakeholders.

The Sustainability Group leads Temasek’s overarching sustainability strategy, focusing on integrating sustainability across operations, investments, and portfolio engagement. Key levers include capital deployment for sustainable solutions, an ESG framework throughout the investment lifecycle, driving value creation in portfolio companies, implementing sustainable practices, and fostering collaboration for systemic change.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Support the team in catalyzing decarbonization solutions across clean energy sectors, focusing on technology innovation and ecosystem initiatives.
- Research and analyze emerging technology areas related to decarbonization trends, policy developments, and market drivers to provide actionable insights.
- Engage with stakeholders to validate problem statements as needed.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in science, engineering, or a technical area; advanced degree candidates are welcome.
- Knowledgeable about clean energy technologies and markets with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with techno-economic and financial modeling is advantageous.
- Ability to navigate across diverse stakeholders, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Creative, organized, and results-oriented with attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Passionate about creating sustainable climate impact.
