Job Description

The Strategy Team in the National Climate Change Secretariat is looking for a motivated and analytical intern to assist in developing the Central Outlook project, which focuses on identifying and assessing international climate-related trends that could affect Singapore’s decarbonisation strategies. The intern will be responsible for researching authoritative reports, synthesizing stakeholder perspectives, and extracting insights from various news sources. The findings will help guide strategic direction and resource allocation for Singapore’s government agencies in the upcoming year.

What You Will Be Working On

Project Title: Refresh of the Climate Change Central Outlook

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan and analyze authoritative reports to identify international climate-related trends and developments.
  • Synthesize stakeholder views to assess potential impacts on Singapore’s decarbonisation strategies.
  • Extract and compile insights from various news sources to inform policy decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive set of implications for strategic direction and resource allocation.
  • Support the team in strategic planning and policy development for Singapore’s government agencies.
  • Minimum 8 weeks (12-24 weeks preferred).
