Managing Consultant will support ERM’s Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change services, focusing on project management and client relationship development. The position is full-time and will be based in Bangkok, Thailand.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Development of corporate sustainability program such as sustainability strategy, human rights due diligence process, sustainable supply chain management, circular economy program, etc.
  • Climate strategy project development and implementation including low carbon economy transitions, GHG emissions reduction actions and plans, climate and net zero strategies, Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi), climate-related financial risks and opportunity assessment, adaptation and mitigation strategies, carbon credit projects, natural climate solutions, etc.
  • Technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability reporting utilizing Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, SET reporting guidelines, and other industry-specific tools.
  • Assistance in response to sustainability indices, such as S&P Corporate Sustainability Assessment (S&P CSA), SET ESG Rating, CDP, etc.
  • Assessment of business programs for social needs by measuring and valuing business broader societal impacts using concepts such as Social / Environmental Return on Investment, Natural Capital Protocol, Creating Shared Value, etc.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change (CSCC) consultancy services to key client accounts in ERM focus sectors such as Oil & Gas, F&B, Bank, Chemical, Technology, Manufacturing, and Finance, maintain client relations, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Contribute to expanding CSCC services annually. Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and contribute to the development of new business with new and existing clients as well as client relationships that generate repeat business.
  • Conduct training and facilitate workshops to both internal and external clients in the area of CSCC services.
  • Support the general growth and development of ERM’s global CSCC services. Collaborate with other ERM global practitioners to execute projects, including participating on teams comprised of CSCC professionals from multiple offices around the global organization.
  • Support internal management responsibilities including: planning and budgeting, mentoring junior team members, and interfacing with other practice areas and project teams within ERM.
  • Subject matter expertise in corporate sustainability and climate change
