Job Description
The Manager, Group Sustainability is responsible for managing Singtel Group’s internal and external sustainability communications, including employee sustainability engagement. Key responsibilities include:
- Sustainability Reporting (SR): Manage the annual Singtel Group SR reporting process, oversee internal reporting data systems, collaborate with design/video house for SR production, and manage related projects with consultants.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop stakeholder communication strategies, produce bi-monthly Group Sustainability newsletters, and manage sustainability e-training programmes for staff.
- Social Sustainability And Responsible Procurement: Liaise with internal stakeholders to drive human rights and sustainable procurement, and address gaps identified by sustainability rating agencies.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should have:
- A degree/postgraduate degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Business, or Communications.
- Relevant certifications in sustainability reporting (e.g., GRI Standards, ISSB Standards) and experience with sustainability rating agencies’ surveys is a plus.
- 3-5 years of working experience in corporate sustainability.
- A good understanding of Singtel’s sustainability strategy and its four pillars.
- A strong knowledge of stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Strong project management skills.
