Job Description:
The role entails coordinating with internal business units and support function groups to implement sustainability initiatives and practices, effectively monitoring the Group’s sustainability progress and ensuring comprehensive sustainability disclosures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Your responsibilities :
- Assist the line manager in designing and developing a cross-company, cross-functional sustainability roadmap strategy, establishing clear timings and deliverables and guiding the network of stakeholders to foster integration and successful implementation.
- Lead the compilation of sustainability data across the Group, ensuring data integrity at all times, and maintain effective relationships with all data providers.
- Responsible for planning and executing the Group’s sustainability communication efforts, fostering continuous engagement with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate our sustainability priorities and aspirations.
- Coordinate both regulatory and non-regulatory ESG reporting activities, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations and fulfilling voluntary commitments.
- Integrate broader sustainability research and insights into the ongoing development of ESG matters related to the Group’s core businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, evolving trends and developments, national ESG-themed policies and industry specific guidelines.
- Support the Management in identifying potential opportunities for positive social and environmental impacts, foster collaborative initiatives with relevant external stakeholders to address emerging ESG issues.
- Assist the line manager with departmental administrative tasks and processes, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all administrative functions, maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned or prescribed from time to time.
To be eligible for this role, you will require:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, sustainability, environmental, and environmental science.
- Possess at least 5-6 years experience in Sustainability, in capacity of a team lead / supervisory role. Those whom worked with Public Listed entities will be highly preferred.
- Experience in developing and driving adoption of Sustainability Framework, through the support / involvement of senior stakeholders is ideal.
