Job Description
The internship with Marriott International, Inc. is designed for current university students interested in pursuing a career in Sustainability, particularly within the hospitality industry. Interns will engage in diverse projects that enhance their professional development, leadership, and teamwork skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in project development meetings and contributing to sustainability initiatives.
- Assisting in project management and ensuring efficient execution of key projects.
- Conducting market research on sustainable hotel operations and ESG reporting trends.
- Providing insights to help hotel teams maintain competitiveness and innovation.
- Using data analytics to consolidate operational data and present actionable insights.
- Liaising with hotel leaders for projects and taking meeting minutes.
- Creating presentation decks for webinars and meetings.
- Collaborating with regional Green Team meetings and activities.

Learning Objectives
This internship allows interns to utilize their knowledge of sustainability while engaging in programs that promote sustainable hotel operations. Interns will participate in the ideation and implementation of initiatives aimed at increasing sustainability awareness, analyze progress through data, and acquire hands-on experience in communication and strategic decision-making.
Qualification Standard
Candidates should preferably be studying Hospitality, Sustainability, Business Management, or Economics. They must be Singaporean, a Permanent Resident, or hold a valid Student Pass/Work-holiday Pass, and be committed to a six-month internship. Grooming standards according to Marriott policies must be adhered to.
