This position is within a lubricants manufacturing plant characterized by high automation, solar energy usage, and compliance with multiple ISO certifications, aiming for a 45% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030 compared to 2019.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum Degree in Engineering/Sustainability/HSE with 5 years of experience.
- Understanding of ISO standards and energy management systems is advantageous.
- SCEM and ISO 50001 auditor certification required.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with analytical abilities.
- Experience in facilitating change and promoting operational excellence.
Activities
General
- Coordinate sustainability program deployment for awareness and competency.
- Develop strategies for energy consumption and environmental impact reduction.
- Evaluate project designs to minimize energy consumption and pollution.
- Monitor energy and environmental impact KPIs.
- Share best practices with other company affiliates.
Carbon Emission and Energy Consumption Management
- Ensure accurate CO2 emissions data collection from operations and logistics.
- Improve energy efficiency and collaborate with process owners.
- Lead a cross-functional energy team for GHG and energy management system compliance.
- Conduct energy audits for ISO 50001 compliance and continual improvement.
- Establish long-term plans for CO2 emission reduction projects.
- Coordinate studies for potential energy efficiency improvements.
- Develop business cases for energy and CO2 reduction initiatives.
Health, Safety, Environment, Communities
- Maintain HSE compliance with relevant regulations and ISO standards.
- Develop waste management strategies for data accuracy and waste reduction.
- Monitor environmental impacts from operations.
- Collaborate on biodiversity action planning.
- Engage with stakeholders to mitigate negative community impacts.
- Initiate Stakeholder Relationship Management (SRM+).
Others
- Encourage a culture of innovation.
- Develop digital projects to enhance HSE processes.
- Assist in managing departmental expenses.
Context & Environment
- Operating within a solarized lubricants manufacturing plant.
- Utilizing 1.2 MWp solar panel capacity.
- ISO certified environment including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and IATF 16949.
- Goal to reduce CO2 emissions by 45% by 2030 compared to 2019.
