Health, Safety & Environment Assistant (HSE Assistant) – Gò Dầu, Đồng Nai

Job Description

• Graduated from College/Bachelor with relevant majors.
• At least 2 years of experience in operation activities of the Petroleum business.
• Basic knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment – Security activities.
• Fluency in Vietnamese.
• Ability to use English (all four skills) for work.
• Proficiency in MS Office and computer skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and ability to work independently.

Activities

• Conduct training on general HSE rules for new employees and contractors.
• Support HSE Supervisor in preparing HSE reports as required by the company and local authorities.
• Conduct daily site checks to ensure compliance with HSE rules during critical tasks (e.g., working at height, fire work, confined space).
• Monitor HSE & security equipment to ensure periodic inspections and good condition.
• Coordinate with sections to manage waste in the plant and report waste movement monthly to HSE Supervisor.
• Ensure proper implementation of security procedures by security guards.
• Issue and track payments for HSE-S expenses.
• Manage PPE storage and distribute it to employees/contractors appropriately.
• Conduct Safe to Load checks when trucks arrive for product pickups.
• Fulfill additional tasks and/or assignments as requested by line managers or the board of management.
