Job Description
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge to identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace.
- Excellent knowledge in conducting risk assessment.
- Knowledge in performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to determine causes of unaddressed conditions and implement corrective actions.
- In-depth knowledge to conduct incident investigations.
- Communicate and investigate possible accidents and complaints, evaluating breaches of health and safety law.
- Conduct OSH training/seminars (e.g., Mandatory 8-hours training, Defensive driving, Manual handling safety, ergonomics safety).
- Perform safety inspections/audits to identify hazards and report findings to supervisors.
- Implement and monitor compliance with safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to communicate and share the latest safety best practices.
- Ad-hoc activities may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- At least 3 years of experience as a safety inspector/officer or in a similar role.
- A minimum of 80-hours safety training (e.g., BOSH, Mandatory SO3, HIRAC, First Aid – CPR/BLS Training, and LCM).
- OHSAS Lead Auditor Course Training or QMS/IMS Internal Auditor certification is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Extensive knowledge in warehousing and fleet management transport operations safety.
- Basic knowledge of facility safety and environmental requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, results-driven orientation.
- Exhibit high standards of behavior and conduct within the organization.
- Willing to travel locally and visit hubs.
- Willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines.
- Demonstrates trustworthiness in behavior.
