The role involves overseeing conservation programs for WWF-Singapore, including project design and implementation, program management, fundraising, communications, internal and external engagements, thought leadership, and staff management.
Oversee conservation programs in collaboration with the Director of Conservation and Science.
Design high-impact conservation projects aligned with WWF and donor interests, ensuring adherence to standards.
Manage projects to ensure quality delivery, financial sustainability, and adherence to objectives and safeguards.
Facilitate fundraising efforts, engaging with donors and stakeholders.
Develop communications initiatives and content for outreach and education.
Represent WWF-Singapore in relevant practices and local NGO consultations, ensuring strategic alignment.
Provide thought leadership in wildlife, ecosystems, and Nature-based Solutions.
Lead and manage the daily activities of the field team staff, mentoring and fostering a positive work environment.
Required Skills and Competencies
Technical knowledge of local and Asian ecosystems, biodiversity, and factors affecting their health.
Strategic thinking to align conservation efforts with broader organizational goals.
Ability to manage work plans, projects, and budgets effectively.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications and Skills
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience preferred.
Advanced degree in environmental science or related fields preferred; relevant expertise also encouraged.
Minimum of 5 years of staff management experience.
Proven success in strategy development and execution.
Experience in a multi-stakeholder and not-for-profit environment is advantageous.
