Leveraging Univers’ EnOS Ark platform and Carbon Management Solutions (CMS), you will help clients navigate the complexities of carbon tracking, GHG reporting, and sustainability compliance.

This role demands a deep understanding of GHG Protocol, CDP standards, and carbon credits/offsets, allowing you to advise clients on the most effective sustainability strategies and reporting frameworks.

You will be responsible for overseeing the entire sustainability sales process, from identifying client needs to positioning carbon management products, ensuring clients achieve both regulatory compliance and business sustainability objectives. A key part of your role will also be to demonstrate the financial and environmental benefits of adopting carbon solutions that align with global sustainability targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sustainability & Carbon Solution Sales: Lead the sales of EnOS Ark, CMS, and carbon credits/offsets, targeting corporations looking to reduce their carbon footprint and achieve net-zero. Collaborate with internal teams to tailor these solutions to client needs, while promoting their long-term environmental and financial benefits.
  • Regulatory Expertise & Compliance: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on navigating GHG Protocol, CDP, and other sustainability reporting frameworks. Provide expert guidance on how to meet compliance requirements, reduce carbon emissions, and manage sustainability data in line with regional and global standards.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and manage long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate sustainability leaders, environmental teams, and regulatory bodies. Position Univers as a leader in helping companies align with net-zero goals while meeting regulatory and reporting obligations.
  • Carbon Credit & Offset Strategy: Advise clients on the use of carbon credits and offsets as part of their sustainability strategy. Guide them on how to navigate carbon markets and integrate carbon trading into their overall decarbonization goals.
  • Sustainability Product Development: Work closely with Product Managers to refine sustainability tools and carbon solutions based on client feedback. Stay abreast of emerging trends in carbon management and sustainability reporting, ensuring Univers remains competitive in the market.
  • Tender & Proposal Leadership: Respond to RFPs and tenders with sustainability solutions that meet client-specific carbon reduction targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposals that emphasize the ROI of adopting carbon management products.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 8+ years of sales or business development experience in sustainability, carbon management, or related fields. Proven expertise in GHG Protocol, CDP reporting, and carbon offset programs. Experience working with corporate sustainability leaders and regulatory bodies is essential.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of carbon management frameworks, including GHG accounting, carbon credit trading, and sustainability reporting platforms. Experience with carbon tracking tools such as EnOS Ark is highly desirable.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven success in consultative selling, particularly in sustainability and compliance-driven industries. Ability to translate complex carbon reduction strategies into compelling value propositions for clients.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Expertise in global and regional sustainability frameworks, such as GHG Protocol, CDP, SBTi, and TCFD. Must be able to guide clients through compliance processes and help them achieve carbon neutrality.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: A strong team player who excels in collaborating with Product Managers, Solution Architects, and Customer Success Teams to deliver carbon management solutions. Ability to align internal teams around client sustainability needs and compliance objectives.

Preferred Experience:

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with global sustainability trends, including carbon offset markets, emissions reporting frameworks, and renewable energy certificates (RECs). Strong understanding of the Asian sustainability landscape is highly valued.
  • Client Network: Extensive relationships with large corporate clients, regulatory bodies, and sustainability consultants in Singapore and the broader APAC region. Familiarity with clients in carbon-intensive industries is beneficial.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on carbon management and compliance standards.
