Job Description

As a CBRE Facilities Manager in Singapore, you will oversee building operations and maintenance for small to medium-sized facilities, managing a team to ensure optimal performance. This role focuses on all aspects of asset operations, working closely with Property Managers on repairs and investment plans.

What You’ll Do

  • Implement and manage safety, health, environmental, and security systems to ensure compliance with laws and corporate expectations.
  • Champion processes for employee and contractor safety.
  • Manage operational projects within budget constraints for both opex and capex.
  • Oversee tenant services, monitoring KPIs and service levels in line with CBRE standards.
  • Optimize asset value through best practices in operations, maintenance, and energy use.
  • Ensure timely completion of planned preventive maintenance and client requests.
  • Develop personnel and manage labor relations.
  • Act as the primary contact with site Business Units.
  • Develop and communicate responsive work procedures to evolving client needs.
  • Participate in contractor evaluations and ensure performance standards are met.
  • Supervise and evaluate FM staff and contractors.
  • Develop and implement office space plans to optimize seating.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

What You’ll Need

  • Degree in engineering, facility management, or a relevant technical field with 5-8 years experience in Facilities Management and the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Strong leadership skills to achieve high standards.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities, both oral and written.
  • Sound business, financial, and planning skills.
  • Strong decision-making and business judgment.
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of corporate and regulatory security, safety, health, and environmental requirements.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement in financial and operational performance.
  • Project management, change management, coordination, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
