Job Description
- Advice and assist the project team on workplace Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) matters
- Collaborate with Contractor’s HSE team to establish a strong safety culture at project site to collectively achieve the project’s HSE objectives
- Evaluate and review Contractor’s HSE program and procedures to ensure compliance on site compliance
- Ensure all relevant WSH Acts and Regulations, company safety rules and regulations and codes of practice are implemented and complied by all employees and contractors
- Maintain and monitor achievement of project’s HSE objectives
- Lead the site HSE team in the implementation and monitoring of HSE plans/measures
- Organize safety activities to raise safety awareness on site for both employees and contractors
- Analyze and address areas of non-conformance to HSE standards and practices at project site
- Coordinate with Contractor’ HSE team to ensure compliance to the Risk Assessment processes.
- Manage HSE incidents reporting and investigation in accordance with the Ministry of Manpower requirements and company’s procedures
- Manage and conduct HSE Inspections and audits on the project, including planned and ad-hoc
- Carry out safety SIC briefings for the project
- Other instructions or assignments by management
Job Requirements
- Minimum qualifications: GCE ‘O’ Levels and Workplace Safety and Health Officer, registered with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Singapore.
- At least preferably 4 years working experience in industrial building and process plant construction project.
- Good communication skills with the ability to convey instructions clearly to a diverse workforce
- This appointment is on a fixed-term contract basis for two years.
