Job Purpose
The Environmental Sustainability Development Manager is responsible for driving Sri Trang Group’s environmental initiatives across its vertically integrated natural rubber operations. This role focuses on developing and implementing strategies to address climate change, improve energy efficiency, manage waste and water resources, and advance circular economy practices. The manager will also work on reducing the company’s carbon footprint and promoting sustainable operations throughout the production and distribution processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Climate Change Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate the environmental impact of Sri Trang Group’s operations, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the rubber production process.
- Energy Saving and Renewable Energy: Lead initiatives to optimize energy use, promote energy efficiency, and increase the adoption of renewable energy sources.
- Waste and Water Management: Manage programs aimed at reducing waste generation and optimizing water usage across Sri Trang Group’s facilities, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
- Circular Economy: Promote and implement circular economy principles, turning waste into resources and improving resource efficiency within the company’s integrated operations.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct environmental risk assessments related to rubber production, processing, and distribution, and implement necessary mitigation strategies.
- Carbon Footprint Reduction: Lead efforts to reduce the company’s carbon footprint, including managing carbon credits and reporting.
- Green Operations and Product Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for sustainable operations and products, ensuring that environmental considerations are integrated into product design and production processes.
- Reporting: Monitor, collect, and analyze data on the company’s environmental performance to support the preparation of sustainability reports.

Responsibilities
- Perform assigned tasks as directed.
- Strictly adhere to company regulations, work instructions, and policies regarding quality, environment, health, safety, legal requirements, and stakeholder obligations.
- Support and encourage employee participation in quality initiatives, CSR activities, and internal programs such as 5S, Kaizen, and QCC.
- Help maintain and safeguard company assets.
- Ensure work practices minimize environmental issues, prevent accidents, and maintain product quality to meet customer satisfaction.
- Consider the impact of operations on stakeholders and take responsibility for driving key sustainability initiatives.
- Report progress and issues to supervisors as needed.
Education:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in environmental sustainability management, preferably in manufacturing or vertically integrated industries.
- Expertise in climate change mitigation, renewable energy, waste management, and circular economy practices.
