We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Consultant interested in EHS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will learn deep understanding of EHS management systems, water and waste management, and possess strong data and digital capabilities to develop and implement sustainable strategies for our clients.
This role will report to the EHS Lead in our Singapore office.
Consultants in the EHS team work on a wide range of interesting technical and strategic projects: such as technical, EHS audits, EHS/ESG due diligence and ESG strategy.
Further, the team has an extensive pipeline of environment, health and safety compliance audits for major global corporations. To support the successful delivery of this growth ambition, the team are looking to appoint a consultant role to deliver compliance audits, as well support for transactional advisory services through EHS, ESG or Environmental Due Diligence. The ideal candidate will be in a client facing role such as compliance audits or due diligence, as well as strong communication and written skills.
Primary Responsibilities
The position will require the successful candidate to:
Project Delivery:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of Sustainable Ops projects.
- Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely and high-quality project outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of project documentation, reports, and client deliverables.
Digital Implementation:
- Work closely with the digital implementation team (s) to support design, implementation of digital platforms
- Support the implementation of digital tools and technologies to enhance ESG data tracking and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of digital solutions for sustainability management.
Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret sustainability-related data to identify trends and insights.
- Assist in the development of data-driven recommendations for clients to improve sustainability performance.
- Contribute to the creation of data visualizations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
ESG Exposure:
- Assist in conducting ESG assessments for clients, analyzing exposure, and identifying improvement areas.
- Stay informed about evolving ESG standards, frameworks, and reporting requirements.
- Contribute to the development of ESG strategies that align with client goals and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Sustainability, Climate Change, Chemical Sciences or related discipline;
- Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience in consulting sectors, familiar with environmental and/or health and safety advisory;
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision;
- Strong written, communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team is essential;
- Strong skills with MS Office applications.
