About The Role

As a CBRE Energy & Sustainability Manager, you will assist with managing the team responsible for the development and execution of energy management programs.

This job is a part of the Energy and Sustainability functional area which focuses on the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.

What You’ll Do

  • To support building owners on the feasibility study of engineering solutions and conduct life cycle costing to improve productivity and efficiency
  • To lead a team and responsible for the E&S profit and loss (P&L), team management, project management etc
  • To promote project management as well as energy and sustainability(E&S) team capabilities
  • To have advance knowledge on the design of ACMV systems and M&E services to achieve operational and cost efficiency, Return of Investment (ROI), etc.
  • To create/cultivate/generate new sales leads/revenue for M&E system retrofitting/green related projects from both new and existing clients
  • To qualify and maintain the Green building certification/re-certification for clients
  • To advise building owners by working on engineering and environmental sustainability initiatives which include implementation of solutions
  • Conduct site assessments and to produce reports for sustainability areas or environmental concerns, ensuring data collection and reporting requirements are not onerous
  • Translate sustainability strategies into actionable initiatives to be suitably applied at the client site
  • Consider environmental sustainability proposals with attention to factors such as cost effectiveness, feasibility, and ease of integration with various operational needs
  • Draft and prepare E&S internal team performance reports, standardizations, presentations, and proposals; presents proposals and recommendations to the relevant stakeholders
  • To support internal stakeholders for new client engagement
  • Train and advocate sustainability efforts through workshops and trainings internally and externally
  • Work with various development teams to ensure environmental sustainability initiatives are in place and actively tracked and reported as required
  • Supporting in the development of technical solutions and strategies to help clients develop sustainability and health and wellbeing strategies
  • Manage Green Building projects that are related to the Net Zero Carbon pathway (e.g., LEED, WELL, Green Mark or related standards).
  • Conducting walk-through audit, measurement and verification of building performance to analyze and propose improvement.
  • Develop and execute energy, water and waste strategies and assessments to drive the sustainability agenda.
  • Utilise existing best practice industry frameworks to inform roadmaps for project / program delivery
  • Prepare short reports, track project status and meet scheduled deadlines

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. SCEM and LEED accreditation, preferred.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
