Director of Sustainability [Data Center, ICT Firm]

Adecco is collaborating with a well-established ICT Organization to hire for a Director of Sustainability for their team expansion.

The Job:

• Act as a change agent and subject matter expert for sustainability-related matters within the organization.
• Developing and executing Sustainability strategies for the organization.
• Collaborate closely to guide and lead other relevant departments such as operations, products, and strategy in achieving the group’s sustainability aspirations with a focus their Data Center business.
• Sustainability advocate to the external environment to establish the organization as a Green DC leader and support the sales of greener offerings.
• Support the annual sustainability report writing and publications.
• Support various sustainability initiatives.
• Manage climate risk assessment process and reporting.

The Talent:

• At least 10 years of Sustainability/Technical experience in the DC space
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics Engineering is added advantage
• Possess key certifications such as: Certified Energy Manager,Green Mark Manager and ISO1400 series qualification
• Experienced in working in large facilities management area and held leadership capacity for at least 5 years
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams to develop the sustainability strategies for mid- and long-term initiatives centric to next gen DC
• Knowledge and experience in sustainability reporting according to the various standards such as GRI, SASB, Carbon Reporting standards and etc
• Knowledge in Carbon Accounting and ISSB standards
• Familiar with green DC requirements and operations, Energy Management and sourcing knowledge, environmental management system and carbon management.
• Understanding of the Renewable energy landscape in the region
• Comfortable with managing large set of data and numbers.
• Experience in implementing environmental concepts
