Corporate Sustainability Program Manager
Job Description:
Entegris is seeking an experienced Corporate Sustainability Program Manager to lead and implement sustainability projects and strategies to enhance the organization’s environmental performance. This individual will work with the Global Sustainability Team and collaborate with various departments to minimize the environmental impact of operations, focusing on energy and water consumption, material circularity, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This remote position may involve up to 20% travel to factory locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a global strategy to continuously reduce utility demands in Entegris manufacturing facilities, especially in Asia.
- Support and coach site-based Sustainability teams in implementing sustainability concepts and standards.
- Utilize tools and software to monitor sustainability indicators and evaluate program effectiveness for energy, water, and waste management.
- Conduct site assessments to identify conservation measures and ensure alignment with the 2030 Corporate Social Responsibility goals.
- Assist site teams in developing projects aimed at energy and water reduction, and share best practices across locations.
- Establish standards for technical analysis and cost justification related to sustainability initiatives.
- Lead the Life Cycle Analysis Program to assess environmental impacts throughout product life cycles.
- Develop awareness campaigns and communications to improve corporate sustainability understanding.
- Stay updated on environmental standards and regulations to ensure organizational compliance.
Requisite Criteria & Skills:
- Success in promoting sustainability goals at both site and corporate levels.
- 5-10+ years of experience in a CSR-related role within the industry.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
- Experience in environmental compliance, particularly in Semiconductor, Automotive, Food/Beverage, or Medical Device industries is preferred.
- Knowledge of cost-saving strategies and energy conservation measures.
- Ability to analyze technical documents and comply with regulations.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and effective communication with teams.
- Strong presentation skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative virtual environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Environmental Data Management; familiarity with SAP systems is a plus.
