Consultant – Solar Power

In line with our growing business, we are seeking a Consultant, Solar Power to work on various solar power projects in Thailand and the APAC region.

Job Description

Your scope of work will include the following:

• Prepare conceptual design and feasibility studies for ground-mounted, rooftop, and floating solar PV, battery storage, hybrid renewable energy, and potentially other renewable power projects.
• Prepare technical due diligence for potential acquisition or financing of solar PV, battery storage, and other renewable power projects.
• Prepare energy yield analysis for solar PV projects.
• Assist clients with solar PV EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, and general renewable power project development.
• Act as lenders engineer in solar PV projects, conducting construction and operations monitoring.
• Prepare reports for clients as required.
• For interested candidates, there is a possibility to expand the role to include participation in other project types, such as green hydrogen/ammonia projects, decarbonization studies, onshore wind, etc.

Qualifications

• Higher professional degree in an engineering field relevant to the job (B.Sc. or higher).
• Industry background and more than 1 year of work experience in power utilities, IPP developers, engineering companies, or power sector consulting companies.
• Experience in the solar power project development phase.
• Fluency in English and Thai.
• Good report writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in client interaction with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well with people from diverse cultures.
• Ability to work independently.
