Job Responsibilities:
- ·Develop and implement B.Grimm Power’s Net Zero pathway for both corporate-level and location-based operations, ensuring alignment with international benchmarks and best practices.
- Ensure alignment with Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures requirements. For Science-Based Targets (SBTi), conduct a detailed study and analysis to assess feasibility, timeline, and approach for potential commitment.
- Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure initiatives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions are implemented effectively and tracked for impact.
- Collaborate with the Energy Technology Enhancement team to monitor and integrate emerging low-GHG technologies (e.g., green hydrogen, carbon capture, and energy storage) into Net Zero planning.
- Monitor and assess upcoming regulatory changes, including: Thailand’s anticipated carbon tax policy and Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). EU CBAM & other international carbon pricing mechanisms impacting industrial clients. SEC Thailand ESG disclosures and global reporting frameworks (ISSB IFRS S2, CDP, SBTi).
- Ensure compliance across B.Grimm Power’s operations, assisting business teams in adapting to climate-related financial risks and policy shifts.
- Develop internal carbon pricing strategies (ICP) to assess financial risks and support low-GHG investment decision-making.
- Serve as a trusted climate advisor for internal teams, integrating climate considerations into business decisions and initiatives.
- Support industrial clients in achieving Net Zero goals, ensuring B.Grimm Power’s solutions align with diverse sustainability standards.
- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, sustainability workshops, and advisory briefings to strengthen B.Grimm Power’s role as a Net Zero partner.
- Foster supplier and partner engagement in sustainability initiatives to reduce emissions across the value chain.
- Collaborate with Technology Solutions to assess and implement low-carbon technologies and climate innovations.
- Coordinate with Risk Management team to conduct climate risk scenario analysis to assess financial and operational risks associated with climate policy changes and market shifts.
- Support ESG and sustainability reporting efforts, ensuring compliance with TCFD, ISSB IFRS S2, and SEC Thailand ESG disclosure standards.
- Engage with investors, stakeholders, and regulators on climate performance, risk mitigation, and B.Grimm’s sustainability positioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Energy Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in climate strategy, sustainability, energy transition, ESG reporting, or related fields.
- Experience in developing and implementing Net Zero strategies in the energy sector, industrial operations, or corporate sustainability.
- Deep understanding of climate science, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Experience with carbon accounting, emissions reduction strategies, and net-zero pathways.
- Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into climate and energy transition planning.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to climate strategy and sustainability initiatives.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across different departments and functions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex climate data into actionable insights.
- Passion for sustainability and commitment to achieving net-zero goals.
- Hands-on experience with low-carbon technologies (e.g., renewable energy, green hydrogen, carbon capture, energy storage).
- Experience with climate scenario modelling and risk management frameworks.
- Experience in analyze and interpret ESG disclosure frameworks (e.g., TCFD, ISSB IFRS S2, CDP, CBAM, SEC Thailand).
- Experience with carbon credit and offset markets.
- Experience in developing internal carbon pricing (ICP) models and assessing the financial impact of climate policies.
