The Opportunity

SGV’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) team is expanding to meet the challenges of global energy transitions. The Energy Transition Advisory service aims to foster collaboration and innovation in energy systems, and they are seeking new talent to drive these initiatives forward.

What We Look For

• A bachelor’s degree in energy engineering, electrical/mechanical/chemical engineering, management, or economics.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in the energy sector, with a preference for backgrounds in energy regulation, economics, renewable project development, or energy modeling.
• Familiarity with decarbonization, renewable energy solutions, e-mobility, and related regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of the Philippine power industry’s policies and market fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills for data interpretation and insight extraction.
• Experience in assessing the technical and financial feasibility of energy projects.
• Ability to identify opportunities to reduce energy consumption and recommend improvements.
• Experience in energy system analysis or modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Support client engagements related to Energy Transition themes such as decarbonization and renewable energy solutions.
• Assist in identifying opportunities within the energy sector.
• Enhance knowledge on sustainability and energy transition by monitoring industry trends and outlooks.
• Help clients integrate sustainability into their operations and risk management practices.
• Contribute to SGV’s climate change and sustainability services practice.
