The Opportunity


In this role, you’ll help drive the growth of our Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) business line. You’ll take the lead in managing customer relationships, driving commercial adoption, and scaling our presence across Singapore and Malaysia. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact in the renewable energy sector and to help position GetSolar as a leader in the REC market.


Your Role

  • Oversee and manage the REC customer pipeline, including CRM updates and follow-ups.
  • Drive commercial customer acquisition in Singapore, building and managing relationships with key partners and buyers.
  • Work with an intern to support operational tasks such as asset registration and REC certification.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to increase visibility and awareness of the REC business line.
  • Establish and scale the REC business line in Malaysia, working closely with internal teams to localize strategies.
  • Develop strategies for business development, including sourcing potential REC buyers, develop pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and improve efficiency.


Your Credentials

  • Strong organizational and pipeline management skills, with experience using CRM tools.
  • Proven ability to engage and build relationships with commercial customers.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills to monitor market trends and refine strategies.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in fast-paced environments and works well with cross-functional teams.
  • Passionate about renewable energy and committed to advancing a sustainable future.
  • Prior experience in sales, business development, or renewable energy is a plus.

Contract Type And Location

This is a full-time role based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with attractive quarterly bonuses on top of a base salary. Candidates who are not in Malaysia need not apply.
