Job Description

Orica is seeking an Analyst – ESG to join their sustainability team. This role involves supporting the delivery of annual sustainability disclosures and improving data visibility related to sustainability across the organization. The analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sustainability data, developing dashboards, and contributing to ESG initiatives.

What you will be doing

• Collaborating on the collation and aggregation of timely sustainability data for annual public disclosures.
• Implementing monthly sustainability data reporting using Orica systems and Power BI.
• Maintaining a register of new sustainability reporting legislation to ensure compliance.
• Analyzing sustainability data to identify trends and provide insights for strategic initiatives.
• Supporting internal quality control checks and ensuring compliance with governance procedures.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of sustainability data processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What you will bring

• 3+ years of post-graduate experience in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in data analysis or sustainability reporting.
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and reporting standards is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Excel, and sustainability software like Enablon.
• A passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental impact.
