Job Description
The role involves reviewing GHG emission data submitted by data owners to ensure compliance with Group requirements, resolving any issues to ensure on-time submission, and promoting sustainability knowledge transfer. Responsibilities also include assisting with the Group’s Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions calculation and inventory development, identifying improvement and efficiency opportunities, handling queries from external auditors, and facilitating the closure of any findings. The position requires assisting with system implementation and process automation to refine reporting processes while proactively tracking and evaluating the development of climate risk disclosures in the region. Additionally, the role involves the implementation of the organization’s climate-related financial statement metrics and the establishment of strong stakeholder relationships through effective communication.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in calculating Scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions following the GHG Protocol, preferably in the logistics and e-commerce industries.
- Experience with TCFD reporting is a plus.
- Strong logical and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Resourceful and adaptable mindset in risk and control under uncertainty.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering results.
- Strong team player focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
