Since establishing Energy Academy Indonesia (ECADIN) in 2017, Desti Alkano, Ph.D., has been leading a number of joint studies and technology partnerships with multinational companies and research institutions in driving and implementing changes for corporate sustainability.

Syarif Riyadi has multiple years of experience in hi-tech manufacturing industries (automotive and semiconductor sectors).
His main focus are on the Quality & Technology aspects in the supply chain. Six Sigma, FMEA & problem solving methodologies are his core competencies. His daily activities involve project management, stakeholders interactions, and escalations handling. Syarif Riyadi obtained his PhD in condensed-matter physics from University of Groningen – the Netherlands.

Rizky Segha bringing a wealth of experience and leadership to the organization. With a strong background in energy management and sustainability, Rizky is instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring smooth operations across the academy.

Candra has 20 years of multidisciplinary experience in energy business: leading operations, managing projects across continents, and delivering technology to market.
She has worked in several countries in Asia, Middle East, Europe, and the US. She is passionate to direct her career to deliver clean energy for the good of the community and the earth. She holds bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Gadjah Mada University and currently an executive MBA candidate from HEC Paris.

Kunaifi has been more than 10 years involved in assessing renewable energy resources, designing and analysing solar photovoltaic systems, hybrid microgrid power systems, and energy conservation. He has been involved in many projects funded mainly by European and Indonesian institutions such as GIZ-Germany, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, The Apex Consulting, PLN (Persero), PT Energy Management Indonesia (Persero), PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan, Central Bank of Indonesia, several local governments, etc. He obtained an M.Sc. degree in renewable energy from Murdoch University Australian in 2009 and a Ph.D. degreein Solar Photovoltaic Systems from University of Twente, the Netherlands, in 2021. Field of interest includes: Solar photovoltaic (PV) system analysis (including performance and degradation) • Small-scale productive applications of PV systems • Data science in renewable energy • Hybrid-microgrid power systems • Solar security and emergency • Energy conservation (audit and management) • Feasibility study of clean energy projects • Energy and sustainable development • Pumped-hydro.

He received his B.Eng. degree from Universitas Indonesia and his M.Sc. degree from Technical University of Berlin.
at the National University of Ireland Galway. He continues his research on Net-Zero America (NZA) at the energy systems analysis group at Princeton University since October 2021. Previously, he worked as a renewable hydrogen researcher at an European Union (EU) funded project. His expertise in modelling and optimisation has brought him to have an opportunity to research at German Aerospace Centre (DLR), Germany. At present, his research activities include the system design of electrofuel or synthetic fuel production, techno-econo-environmental modelling, supply-chain optimisation, sector coupling, energy storage, energy economics, and renewable energy system.

She has over 10 years of expertise and has directed and managed sustainable development projects in Asia, Africa, and Europe.
Her mission is to support businesses and communities in contributing constructively to the economy, society, and the environment through resource efficiency, renewable energy, and a circular economy.
She has been awarded multiple EU-funded project awards and managed e-fuels and biofuels in several FIA World Championships.
She graduated from Gadjah Mada University with a Bachelor’s in Civil and Environmental Engineering and from SRH Berlin with a Master’s in Engineering and International Business.

She received her Bachelor of Social Science in International Relations from Mulawarman University, Samarinda, East Kalimantan Indonesia, in 2011 and her Master of International Affairs in International Energy from Sciences Po, Paris, France, in 2016. She has been working within a regulatory/ administrative role for the Government of Indonesia in energy sector for more than 8 years, developing a range skill as a continuation of past roles and achievement.

Zulfadlillah studied bachelor degree of Industrial Engineering at Bandung Institute of Technology and continued his studies for master degree of Industrial Engineering at University of Indonesia with a specialization in Industrial Management.
Experienced as a professional in the four-wheel automotive manufacturing industry more than 10 years with expertise in quality engineering, quality management system and production system. Experienced as a lecturer of the Industrial Engineering program study at private university with specialized in manufacturing system course. In addition to his career as a professional in the automotive manufacturing industry, he currently join as an ECADIN researcher in the field of EV battery manufacturing and its value chain.

Fitra’s main interest are in media creative area, mainly videos & graphical design. He’s been involved & being responsible for many media programs of PPI Dunia (Global Indonesian Students Associations) before joining ECADIN in 2022.
Fitra obtained a Bachelor degree in the field of Islamic Civilizations from Azzaitunah University, Tunisia. Currently he’s pursuing a Master’s degree in Contemporary Islamic Thought at the same university.
